Autumn wedding in Prague: Leisan & Peter

October is one of the most colourful months in Czech Republic. Autumn is already ruling the party: numerous parks and gardens are painted in yellow, red and orange, the city is plunged into fantastic atmosphere. For those of you, who is considered to be a romantic person, arranging a wedding in Prague in October will the best solution. Get inspired together with Pater and Lejsan and their wedding photos from Old Town City Hall, taken by professional photographer Artur Jakutsevich.

Civil Wedding in Old Town Hall

If you are still hesitating where to arrange your destination civil marriage in Prague, let’s have a look at this venue, that is so popular with the couples from all over the world. The wedding procedure in Old Town Hall is pretty simple, but very romantic. So, some 10 minutes before the ceremony starts, bride and groom together with the witnesses are invited in a special room of the Town Hall, where all the documents are thoroughly checked. This is a very important step, in order to avoid mistakes and misprints in your first family document — marriage certificate.

Attention: make sure that your witnesses don’t forget their passports. In one of Prague weddings we had such a situation. Unfortunately for the brides they had to change the witnesses.

When all the issues are discussed and everyone is ready, the guests are invited into the hall, where the ceremony is held. After the guests enter the brides. Usually it takes about 10-15 nervous minutes before the bride and the groom can finally exchange the rings.

After all official words are uttered, friends and relatives have a chance to congratulate the couple on their marriage.

And frankly speaking this moment of any destination wedding is one of my beloved, since I have a fantastic chance to capture true emotions of people.

Wedding photo shooting

When the ceremony was over we decided to take some family portraits with relatives and friends who managed to fly from Russia to Czech Republic. It took us some 20 minutes and right after that together with the brides we set off for a wedding photo shooting around most beautiful places of Prague. Since it was October, all the attractions were painted by the nature in very bright colours.

Red roofs

The first place to go was the Prague Castle. Its huge territory has numerous spots where one can take romantic photos. Red roofs are extremely fantastic!

There are hills with panoramic views and amazing Prague gardens with autumn colours.

Though is was not a morning photo shooting, the city was pretty free from the crowds. And it is another reason why to have a destination wedding in Czech Republic planed for October.

Charles Bridge and tiny streets

Brides, with whom I usually work with at Prague weddings, do have certain list of ‘must see places’ and views. For Lejsan and Peter among the most attractive locations in Czech capital where the following:

  • Charles Bridge;
  • Lennon Wall;
  • Parks and Gardens;

Lejsan and Peter, you inspired me with your love, with your beauty and souls! In my mind all October destination weddings in Prague will always correlate with your marriage. In case you do feel like traveling, let’s plan something interesting in Italy!

Sincerely your, Artur Jakutsevich and Vladimir Novikov
