April Wedding Photo Shooting in Rome for Gulyaim & Gani

I met Gulyaim and Gani in April during their honeymoon in Rome. Together we had a fantastic day: we walked through the Eternal City, saw the dawn, took many beautiful wedding photos in the morning, had an authentic Italian breakfast, and finished with a romantic shooting in the Tiber. But let me tell the whole story step by step.

Capitoline Hill

Most of my readers know that traditionally we start wedding shootings in the morning when all the tourists and locals are still sleeping. Morning is the best time in Rome for professional honeymoon or engagement shootings and individual walks around the most popular locations of the city. I sincerely recommend you watch the movie «The Great Beauty» to get inspired by the idea of early morning strolls. But first, enjoy the incredible beauty I created with the help of my new friends.

For your inspiration:

The Colosseum

The first place to take morning photos in Rome was Capitoline Hill, with its panoramic views. There, one can find the best spots to take pictures of the city, Roman Forum, and other sights. The next step in the program was the Colosseum.

Castel St. Angelo

Sometimes our readers and clients ask very complicated questions: «How much time do you need to erase and hide all the people in the background from the photos?» I’ve never done it. I build my work on the contrary: find the time when there is no one at the place you need. Castel Sant’Angelo and the bridge have this condition only two times a day: early in the morning and late at night.

I can’t stand going to Navona Square every morning every time I’m with my couple. It is free of people, and in a silent atmosphere, we can enjoy and look at the works of Bernini — and Italian genius who covered the city with numerous sculptures.

The Pantheon

This massive building shows us, little people, how small we are in the face of gods. The Pantheon in Rome is very impressive. Look at the size of the columns! Unfortunately, Gani and Gulyaim got lost among them.

Spanish Steps

April is when the famous Spanish Steps in Rome turn into a very bright place with the help of thousands of flowers. Together with my dear friends, we took the chance to capture this beauty.

Viewing points in Rome

Hardly any professional photo shooting in Rome with me, as an Italian photographer, is possible without a panoramic view over the city and Vatican.

Villa Borghese

My beloved Villa Borghese was the last place stop for the morning honeymoon shooting in Rome. This park is big and transparent with lots of inspiring details. We came there when the sun was hot, and giant trees gave us comfort in its shadows.

After some hours of sleep, we continued that long April day in Rome with Gulyaim and Gani in the other part of the city with a night honeymoon photo shooting in Trastevere.
