It is already one year after amazing Prague wedding of Anton and Anna took place. It was 31.08.2013 — the last summer day. It was really symbolic since the event turned to be warm, romantic and very interesting. I’m extremely pleased to be able to tell this story about such a lovely couple and their big day celebration in the very heart of Czech Republic.
Unlike most of the couples who get married in Czech Republic and choose this country as a destination for a luxury wedding, Anton and Anna lived in Prague and knew perfectly well the city and its locations. Moreover they had a nice love story to be told. All these things helped them to create really an outstanding day for themselves and for their guests invited. I’m pleased to say, that it was a very sincere event with smiles, tears, love and lots of fun. All the moments are reflected in my report below.
By the way, one of the pictures taken at this Prague wedding was given a price by WPJA — Wedding Photojournalist Association.
So, lets see what was happing on the 31 of August 2013 at this event. I do believe that brides and grooms who plan this destination wedding in Prague will get inspired to invite me as wedding photographer to their the big day planned in Czech Republic.
Where to celebrate the marriage in Prague?
Anton and Anna were carefully planing the event. Among hundreds of restaurants that can host a luxury wedding in Prague, they chose Nebozizek located in Petrin Hill (Petřín). There is also a little hotel in the restaurant with quite enough place a married couple to get ready and to stay for the first night. Moreover one can have the ceremony held just near the restaurant.
The place attracts people with amazing panoramic views of Prague and one of its main attractions: St Vitus Cathedral.
Bride’s morning was a beautiful one, but unexpectedly fast. Hardly had I started the shooting, when the bride was ready for this destination wedding.
The ceremony took place right there, on the hill with a gorgeous view over the city. To my mind this is one of the most romantic places where one can get married.
After everyone heard clearly the double «Yes!», surprises started. Anton and Anna were planning the event and the program really thoroughly. And here my hat’s off to brides for the work they did. All the details were carefully thought over. That helped everyone: our photo-video team and guests to feel comfortable. Personally I managed to capture the full gamut of emotions usual for a good destination wedding.
Guests played a very important role in the event. They were open for any ideas, they reacted to the things happing, they could cry without hiding tears while listening to a romantic song performed by Anton as a surprise for his bride, they could draw each other with markers to find out who was the most creative. Such guests are real treasure.
In my personal experience as a destination Prague wedding photographer, it was the best planned big day with lots of funny and romantic moments. A special thanks go to friends and relatives who helped the brides to create a dream wedding.
There was a tricky surprise with a cake. It looked so real that some of girls screamed! I knew about it, but I was also scared.
Scroll and enjoy the photo shooting of the full day.
Anna and Anton, thank you once ageing for our perfect cooperation. I’m pleased and proud to have your Prague destination wedding in my pages. See you in Rome one day?
Yours,
Artur
