A wedding in Italy is a dream that unites brides from different countries worldwide. One can hardly find another state on the map with such a wide variety of destination wedding locations for elopements, official marriages, and symbolic ceremonies just for two. There are ancient castles like Castelo di Pavone, unique lakes such as Garda and Como, and fishers’ villages like Riomaggiore. But this is just a drop in an extensive see of Italian wedding planning.
Among these fascinating destination wedding locations there is one city which is considered to be the symbol of the country. This is Rome. And today I will tell you a beautiful story about Diana and Alexander who planed an elopement in Rome Castello Della Castelluccia and hired me as an Italian wedding photographer.
Symbolic ceremony in Castello Della Castelluccia
Castelluccia is an ancient castle transformed into a luxury hotel. It is located 20 kilometers away from the capital. The territory of the court is decorated with bushes and flowers. Therefore even in summer hits, the air is fresh and cool. The outdoor wedding ceremonies in Castello Della Castelluccia take place on the orange terrace. And I should say that this is just a great variant of getting married in Italy.
Here in ARTURJAKUTSEVICH.COM we do our best to accumulate relevant information about various side of planning an event. We work with professional wedding planners in Italy and learn from them a lot of information. Therefore for us it is quite easy to recommend the most appropriate time for the ceremony to be held for instance.
This elopement of Diana and Alexander was a gift they received from relatives at the official wedding. And since their honeymoon started in Rome, they decided to take the gown and the suit to have gorgeous photos from Rome and plan a symbolic ceremony in the castle. That was in August; therefore, we started at half-past 4 in the afternoon when the heat decreased and the sun was getting down.
After a very romantic and tender elopement ceremony we had the whole castle in our disposal to make first photos for the newlyweds.
Wedding photo shooting in Grand Hotel Plaza in Rome
Grand Hotel Plaza in Rome constantly appears in my reports from either wedding or honeymoon photo shootings since many couples consider it to be one of the most popular and luxurious. It has also been shown in many well-known movies. The hotel is located in Via del Corso — one of the city’s most touristic and central streets, just around the corner from Spanish Steps.
- Book Grand Hotel Plaza in Rome for a honeymoon trip
Alex and Diana booked this hotel therefore we had an amazing opportunity to make a photo shooting in luxurious interiors of the place. Lots of the pictures below have already bin awarded to nominations and highly estimated by my fellow colleagues Italian wedding photographers.
Wedding photos near Roman sights
The following step for us to make was to go outside from the hotel and to plunge into wedding in Rome photography. The only problem we could have faced with the crowd of tourists that attacks Italian capital in August. Luckily we phoned all the people arrived these days and asked to give us an opportunity to make the photo shooting alone. Lots of them agreed, therefore the photos below look so atmospheric. Believe me or not, but it is absolute true.
All the locations in Rome we planned and included in our wedding photo shooting checklist made my new friends happy.
Spanish steps
Fountain de Trevi
Roman Forum & Capitoline Hill
The Colosseum
Villa Borghese
Thank you, Diana and Alexander, for the time we spent together. The result of your wedding in Italy and further photo shooting is a natural pearl of my professional portfolio. I sincerely hope that these fabulous pictures from a wedding in Rome (Castello Della Castelluccia) will inspire lots of couples.
Yours Artur
